Dr Spies was born in southwest Saskatchewan, in the small town of Cabri, and was raised on a small grain farm near Portreeve Sask. She moved to Saskatoon in 1999 to attend the U of S. In 2003 she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology and went on to enter the College of Dentistry DMD program the following year. After completing her DMD in 2008, Dr Spies worked as a General Dentist in Saskatoon and North Battleford. In 2012, she opened University Heights Dental Studio in Saskatoon and is now also a proud member of the Viva Dental Studio Team. When she is not working, Dr Spies enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Dr Spies is a member of the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan and the Canadian Dental Association.
